Canadian census 1851 - 1916 online

I wish I could say that it was all searchable through Library and Archives Canada, where it would be free!

Ancestry has digitized and indexed all of the census reports, and they are available as of yesterday. The 1916 census is for Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta only. You can take advantage of the 14 day trial, but be aware of the conditions
