MI's for Girvan, Ayrshire

Post by speleobat2 » Mon Apr 05, 2010 12:00 am

Hi all,

My credit card rolled over so I was persuing Munro relatives on SP again today and discovered that my grandmother's cousin William Keith Munro had moved to Girvan, Ayrshire. He apparently married and had two children, then married again after his first wife died and finally died in Girvan in 1943.

Can anyone tell me anything about finding MI's for Girvan? His death cert. doesn't give a place of burial and this is the first relative that I've found in Ayrshire so I'm not even sure where to start looking!

Maureen,

The Girvan website came up with some information for me! I posted a message on the forum and someone replied with the local website for burial searches as well as some information on Girvan cemeteries and a little more on William Keith Munro!

Thanks again,

My husband and I are on a road trip for the next week. We're in Amarillo, Texas tonight, but I'll follow up on the search possiblity when we get back.
