hello ... I'm new here, so have just seen this. I didn't realise there was more than one cemetery in Coupar Angus.
We looked in one last year,( not sure what it was called it was round a windy route which took us all passed some "newish" houses) we didn't find who we were looking for .....
Guess that means more looking although we aren't sure if he was buried or cremated which doesn't help I suppose ....
Thanks
Does anybody ever visit Coupar Angus Cemetery

Re: Does anybody ever visit Coupar Angus Cemetery
Hi. I wondered if someone could email me a photo of a grave at Coupar Angus when they get some time.
The grave I am after is that of Jean Balbirnie. Info>>
Near to the steeple in the church yard of Coupar Angus, there is a headstone. The inscription still distinct and readable >
1775
Erected by Robert STEUART, Slater in Coupar Angus
In memory of his late spouse
JEAN BALBIRNIE
Who departed this life May 19th 1773
aged 45 years.
Also two of their children, Margaret and Ann
are here interred.
I would be very grateful for help. I am down in Australia so unable to do it myself.
Many thanks
