There is a site
http://www.momento-mori.com that photographs Cemeteries, they have photographed Riddrie Park the information is stored in a PDF file, but Bridget Park is not listed.
Of course they may not have photographed all stones yet, but maybe if you contact them (there's a link on their website) they may be able to point you in the right direction for the Park Plot. They may even be able to search for it for a fee.
Cheers
John

There's a few reasons why you may not have found her grave:
she may not be actually mentioned on a stone
the family actually have a stone on the plot at all.
The stone may have fallen down or be covered by plants or,
even in that short time, be illegible.
You say in the 'Park Plot'- looking at the list John mentioned there are only 2 Park males mentioned
1 was John Miller Park was a 1917 WWI death, so likely a war Grave stone
the other A. Alexander Park d 1937 is in bold with DN the end of the index shows DN = Newspaper Death Notice [bold text no stone found]
If he [ Alex.] is a relation of Bridget's then that could be the clue as to why you failed to find it yourself.
Was Park her Maiden name or her Married name? women in Scotland are usually under their maiden name on gravestones so try searching the list for that too.

Hello and a very big thank you for your reply and for expalaining why we might not have found her
she was born Bridget Millar her first husband Robert James Watt was k.i.a. she then married Robert Graham Park who died c 1941
the reason why we came up with Riddrie Park being he burial place was that we were told that there was a family plot in which she was buried in 1967 ,although recently at a funeral we were told by another famil;y member that she was in the family plot but at Sighthill(we had never heard of that cemetery)
regards

Have a look at the Memento mori site for her under all her guises then, Sighthill is large [2 documents to trawl through]
another route may be newspaper announcements at the time of her death which may give the funeral arrangements,
http://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=G ... 4&b_mode=2
is one for the Glasgow Herald [the family announcements are at the end]
The Evening Times is another Glasgow newspaper you could try.

Hi Biz,
I had a look at the marriage certificates for Bridget as you said that her second husband was called "Robert Graham Park" as I have a distant relative through marriage with the name "Robert Park".
I have noticed that actually Bridget's 2 marriages were to "Robert Park" on 27/6/1913 in St Andrew's Cathedral in Glasgow according to the forms of the Roman Catholic Church and he appears to have passed in WW1 in 1916 and she then remarried "Robert Graham Park" according to the forms of the Established Church of Scotland in Glasgow on 30/3/1917. Both certificates actually have her father as Thomas King with his occupation unreadable in one and General Dealer in the other.
Unusual that she married 2 Robert Parks! I'm not too knowledgeable in the Cemeteries in Glasgow and wondered if the apparent change from RC to CofS may have a bearing on which cemetery she was buried in and if, in fact, she was buried?
Regards,
Carolineasb

Hi Carolineasb,
I've had a look at both marriage certificates. Thomas King is a General Dealer on both of them (and is deceased on both).
All the best,
