The powder is put into a small box made of potato or corn starch and placed in a shallow grave, where it will disintegrate within six to 12 months
Sounds like we become the human equivalent of "Cup a Soup"
But dont worry .........A metal separator then picks out metals such as artificial hips and mercury dental fillings.........................

Wow.....talk about
recycling!!!
But then again....here's an interesting side story....
In amongst the debris of inheritance that has sifted to my generation.....was a small coin purse. Obviously well used, quite antique, and containing an assortment of coins of Scotland. And no I haven't yet taken the time to have any valuations made...just intrigued to be able to hold in my hand a relic that once obviously crossed the palm of an ancestor or two. And also in the bottom creases of the coin bag was an odd little nugget....looked like a piece of stone....I dug it out and looked closely.....Wow....that looks like it might be gold??...You spose I had an ancestor that actually went panning for gold and discoverd a small nugget???? Wow....and then the sickening realization washed over me.....

It wisnae gold from the hills but instead a filling and portion of tooth that some poor souls mouth had given up. And there it was.... laying there in the palm of my hand
I've often wondered if they were living or dead when the motherlode came out

! (and I've even had macabre thoughts that if I were so motivated....I could probably have the chunk of attached tooth enamel DNA tested......but maybe I'll leave that to another generation to ponder.....)
Best wishes
Jean
