Hi Ailsa
Just to add that there was an 'unnamed' child of John Beveridge who was buried on 26th February 1724 in Dalgety, Coaltoune (OPR number 422-2) and an 'unnamed' child of John Berrige who was buried on 21st August 1718 in Strathmiglo (OPR 452).
It's a pity that no christian names were recorded on either of these entries - especially with the Dalgety child, as it could have answered your question!
Cheers
Christine

My understanding is that the records will be available towards the end of this year within the new SP centre, though when they will appear on the Scotland's People website is yet to be determined. All the images have been digitised, the indexing is currently being done abroad, and it is that which is holding up their availability.AndrewP wrote: No date has been made public yet for the death / burial OPR index and images to go online on ScotlandsPeople.
The OPR death records are available to view on microfilm at GROS, but the digitised records that will be made available will go beyond what is in the OPRs, as the GROS has other death records as well. The OPR records held at GROS can be identified from their website at http://www.gro-scotland.gov.uk/famrec/h ... r-cov.html
