Janet (ms Turnbull) Philp as a young widow in 1851, she remarries widower John Lawrie in 1853.

Hi Pearl,
I still think your best bet in finding out about the death of George would be in the Carnock death OPRs as given in my p.s. above. You are lucky that the death records for that area seem to be complete.
