Help reading a name in an OPR

Post by speleobat2 » Fri Mar 07, 2008 5:53 pm

I just posted an OPR to the gallery for William Clerihew. Can anyone make out the parent's name?

Thanks,

Carol

Hi Carol,

I make the father's name out as Ernest.

All the best,

I agree with Andrew...

Ernest Clerihew had William (Willm) baptised.

Thanks Andrew for the URL.

I was cleaning up some notes today and for some reason I had it as "Janet" with a question mark.

There is an Ernest Clerihew out there who had a son William so that makes sense. Now I just have to figure out where Janet came from! :?

Guess I'm going to have start writing notes to explain myself to me!

Thanks to Anne too!

Thanks, Carol!
A few lines down that page had a possible sighting of an Alex Sangster I'm pursuing :D :D
[cheers]

Wonderful!

I always try to read all of these myself. I was checking out a Chalmers the other day and four or five entries down was another Chalmers--possibly a brother having his child baptized a few days later! :o You never know what you might find!
