OPR abbreviations .....

Several entries on OPRs have the abbreviation 'mst' or 'mrt' after the name of father or witness relative. Can anyone tell me what this stands for?

Just a guess. Minister or Merchant.

Families of interest are RAITT Dundee area, ABERCROMBY , ABERCROMBIE Kinneff & Caterline.
