Well Sarah,
Unless I get a Gold Crown I’m not interested.
I’m probably gilding the post by saying that I found so many because of the town names. They helped, but it was mainly because I have a number of poets with Bardic names and clerics and so on with unusual middle names. A unique Bardic name or the combination of a rare Bardic name and real name means that every result is a positive and extends to deaths of parents and marriage and deaths of the kids etc.
The only skill involved is tracking down the loose ends after the main mass has been dealt with. That’s just the usual various combinations of name, place, occupation, title (Rev.) etc.
The fun will start when I try to translate the Welsh language ones.
All the best,
Alan

Hi Alan,

Best of luck!
Sarah
Since all the crowns on TS are virtual ones, that shouldn't be a problemCurrie wrote:Unless I get a Gold Crown I’m not interested.
How's your Welsh? I have a Teach Yourself Welsh book somewhere... but I haven't looked at it in a good long while.Currie wrote:The fun will start when I try to translate the Welsh language ones.
