I didn't forget this thread, I just got a bit fed up going around in circles.:P

The David Esdon, Feuer Will didn't lead me in a definite direction, so I am back to Square 1.

Andy, I know the Barrhead Eastons must be related too, but I can't find out how.

I can see that some Eastons were quite well off and the others weren't....I am sure my lot is in the 'weren'ts'. :wink: But did they all start off wealthy, and some squandered it or fell out of favour? Who knows?
