It's odd that the Paisley application doesn't make any reference to George. I would think that his date of death would be a bit of information they would collect.

Doh! I forgot about William :oops:

I'm led to believe that all that sort of info is now held at the Mitchell Library, so I will have to contact them.

One point I am finding confusing, or just missing what's in front of my eyes, on the info from Paisley it shows their address as Springburn Glasgow, but on the 1881 census it shows them living at an address in Paisley. I guess I will also have to re-contact Paisley to enquire if they have a date on their Poor Law Statement.
