Help with Fouchard family in Edinburgh please

Hello
Had a sucsesfull day =D> , found two new children a death of one child and confirmation of Mrs Fouchard and one child.
Still looking for two though, Jammima who died 05-09-1815 age 8mth and David born abt 1818 who would fit between Rosella 1816 and Mary 1820 so will maybe check at a later date as not sure if the index is complete yet.
Could someone explain why there are two indexes for the same person on the same date and year, i can find the explanation were there are two people with the same name but diferent dates and two diferent children on the same day and year.
