Hi Jean,

You didn't mention where the pre-1855 death was.

You'll know about the pre-1855 MI Books(?), so maybe someone with a copy which contains the area you're looking for, would do a look up for you - if that area has in fact been transcribed.

Even if your exact person isn't found, there may well be others bearing the same name, possibly relations - you never know.

I know it's a long shot, but as an 'obsessive graveyarder' I've found this a great way to figure out who was who and what was when!
