Pattern of Names

I've been quite lucky with a few of my middle names as they have related to the first name. For Example:

The children of Robert Marr (Son of Hugh Marr and Mary Drummond) and Marion Russell (Son of John Russell and Mary Wylie)

1. Hugh Marr (Father's father)
2. John Russell Marr (Mother's father's full name used)
3. Robert Marr (Father's name)
4. Thomas Marr (Father's oldest brother.)
5. William Russell Marr (Mother's oldest brother.)

There are quite a few occurrances of this pattern with relation to middle name being a significant identifier of where the first name originated from.
