Park Circus

Post by David Lang » Wed Feb 20, 2008 1:12 am

Just a few small questions about Park Circus , i have my first visit there booked for a few weeks time and Iam busy getting my list together.

Can i print off the certificates there or do i have to take paper notes?

If the records are under the 100/75/50 years old rules , can i still view them (ie can i see who are the parents on DC/MC/BC)?

Can i take a lap top in with me , to record the details?

Thanks

David

And i will be willing to do a couple of look up when i am there

Hi David

I think Park Circus is much the same as NRH, but I'm sure someone who has been there will keep us right! :D
- you can print up to the 100/75/50 cut-off dates. (50p per copy at NRH) After those dates you will need to take paper notes.
If the records are under the 100/75/50 years old rules , can i still view them (ie can i see who are the parents on DC/MC/BC)?
Yes, you can see the full record - you just can't print them.
Can i take a lap top in with me , to record the details?
You can at NRH , so I expect the same will be true at Park Circus.

Best wishes
Lesley

Can i print off the certificates there or do i have to take paper notes? Copies of entries cost 50p.

If the records are under the 100/75/50 years old rules , can i still view them (ie can i see who are the parents on DC/MC/BC)? You can view everything and see all details up to the present day but if they are after the cut off you cannot get a copy unless you order an extract.

Can i take a lap top in with me , to record the details? You can take your laptop (let them know and they'll give you a bigger workspace) but you cannot plug it in.
Thanks

Enjoy yourself -
