Good Morning

Can anyone please help with details on the parents of James Kelly in the attached image.
I have search everywhere that I can think of and seem to have hit a big brick wall

Have you found James in the censuses. I am wondering if he could be Irish?

Yes I have thought of the Irish possibility but there is a rumour of the West Indies. I purposely left it vague in the hope that maybe someone had a connection somewhere and did not want to influence anyone in any one direction.

Looks as though Andrew is correct they would both appear to be Irish

According to the 1871 census Hannah (Annie) was born at Glasgow and James, Ireland.

The 1851 has James's father, John born Ireland, living with them.

Here are some of the children born Glasgow but at the moment I'm not finding a marriage-

The older children are don't show up in the IGI so perhaps they were not COS.

Just realised you probably have all this as it was James's parents you wanted to know more about.
It may be worth trying to find a poorhouse application for Hannah as she was left a widow with a couple of young children.
