Hello Again,

Can anyone help hit a brick wall on some orkney folk, namely thomas linklater b1776 sandwick and wife elizabeth rowland (or elspet or rouland)b1780 sadwick, have found their children but cant find any birth/marriage certificate, their first son john was born 1802.

Any help would be appreciated!

Hi Gillian

I suppose that you found their children on the LDS site. These were all submissions. Maybe you could try getting in touch with the person who made the submissions. He or she might have some more knowledge.I noticed that one child John Linklater died in 1877. Did you check this out on SP?

Hi Sheila,

Thankyou for replying, have found the children but can only find the
parents mentioned in the orkney 1821 census, wondering if they maybe
emmigrated? cant find any sign of their death.
