Hi Anne
Best wishes
Lesley
I saw mention of that too, but it seemed to be back in August of this year. The site was definately there and working fine on Tuesday of this week, but maybe it is a repeat attack or something.there was apparently some kind of virus attached to the Hugh Wallis site which might possibly be the reason why they have taken it down for now...
Best wishes
Lesley

Hi Lesley,
Regards,
Anne H
You're probably right! I haven't been on the other site for a while and didn't take note of the date of the posts...I've been too pre-occupied with the world's economy which hasn't being too kind to me lately!I saw mention of that too, but it seemed to be back in August of this year
Regards,
Anne H

If you go to the Internet Archive here http://www.archive.org/index.php and paste this URL into the Wayback Machine http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~hughwallis/ (make sure you don’t double up on the http:// bit) you’ll find old pages there. Click on the latest one. The batch number lists should be there, you can paste these into the IGI. The middle-name function isn’t working for the cached pages. Some other functionality will be missing but this may get some people out of trouble until something better comes along.

Don’t worry about it Anne, share certificates and banknotes make perfect paper aeroplanes. Want some?
Hope this helps,
Alan
