DeceasedOnLine - The central database for UK burials and cremations

https://www.deceasedonline.com/servlet/GSDOSearch

I don’t know how useful this database currently is but it should be more so as it develops.

Hi Alan,

Thanks for that one.

I didn't find a list of which areas thay have data for. On searching with my surname for any date, any UK place, it came up with 37 results, all in two places (one cemetery and one crematorium), both in south-east England. I tried the same with my mother's maiden surname, and got 63 results - all from the same one cemetery and one crematorium in SE England (the area this company is based in).

If their site develops and gives national coverage then it has good potential. If you join them and buy credits, read the small print. The credits you buy expire after 90 days. The 90 days will be extended if you buy more credits before the 90 days expire. If not, any credits left unused will be deleted after 90 days.

All the best,

AndrewP
