While attempting to identify some ancestors I found the following book very helpful.

  • List of Provosts and Baillies (1472-1815), see page 158.
    List of the Dean of Guilds (1604-1815), see page 182.
    List of the Conveners of Trades House (1604-1815), see page 185.
    List of Treasurers (1604-1815), see page 190.
