It looks like the museum in Ullapool is a source of genalogical information, as well as other local history local history items. For those who can travel there, then it looks worth a visit.

For those unable to travel there, then for a subscription fee there is the virtual museum via the link in the post above. The site tells us that the virtual musem is being added to regularly. It is unclear whether they are just starting or nearly finished their virtual museum.
