I am involved with a genealogy group. some of the members do not have internet but have access to it when they come to their local library or genealogy meeting. At this time I am attempting to compile a list of unique websites for Ireland, Scotland, and England that I can bookmark on the public access computers. ( I work at the Library) Blocks of time are limited for patrons. I am attempting this so that patrons do not get frustrated .... "I just got to something good and now I have to get off"
Thanks
Dona

Hullo Dona!
Just come across your post and realise that it hasn't been acknowledged. The idea sounds excellent. Is your list progressing and are folks finding it useful?
What wasn't clear in my mind was whether or not you were hoping for suggestions about what sites we all use and appreciate.
All the best

I would appreciate a list of some of your favourite British sites.

Hello Dona
There are a list of websites on the sources pages of TS, although they are mainly to do with Scotland, there are some very helpful sites there.
