Help with OPR Banffshire .....

Hi Everyone

Would truly appreciate it if some of you kind folks could help me with some OPR lookups. I am very close to confirming a line I have been pursuing for a while but need some additional evidence to firm it up a bit. I have Alexander Allan Bn 1779 Rothiemay and Jannett Stuart Bn 1783 - married 26 Dec 1801 at Rothiemay. Their kids baptisms as follows:-

John 7/12/1802 Rothiemay
Isabell 17/2/1805 Rothiemay
Ann 11/1/1807 Rothiemay
James 23/4/1809 Rothiemay
Alexander 30/10/1813 Marnoch
William 2/6/1816 Marnoch
George 1818 Marnoch

I have all the details from Ancestry File on LDS but would appreciate if anyone has access to the microfilm for the parish - I have particular interest in the occupation of the father - which might just be on the OPR (I hope).

Hi Ted

I had a look at the relevant films for you today, and this is what they said:

Rothiemay OPR February 10th 1805

Allan - Alexander Allan in Bellanoch had a child by his wife Janet Stuart born of this date and Baptized Febry 17 and named Isabel before the Congregation

Rothiemay OPR April 22nd 1809

Allan - Alexander Allan Square Wright in Bellanoch had a child by his wife Jannet Stuart born of this date baptized April 23rd named James before the Congregation

The entries for John - born 30th October 1802, baptized 7th November 1802 and Ann, born 10th January 1807, baptised 11th January 1807 follow the same format as the entry for Isabel

Marnoch OPR 1813 October 3rd

Allan Alexander - Alexander Allan in Brae of Crombie had a son by his wife Jannet Stuart Baptized and named Alexander before witnesses John Allan and Peter Imlay

I'm afraid I wasn't able to find the entries for William and George in the Marnoch OPRs, even though I searched from 1815-1819 just in case, so they must be well out of sequence.
