1841 - 1861 Censuses at NRH .....

Just to let those who are within travelling distance of New Register House know that the 1841 to 1861 censuses are now online there (as from yesterday). So you can now search the indexes and view images without having to trawl through the microfilms.

Might also save some money on SP!

Great News. No more travel sickness probs looking at microfilms whizzing by. I have some time off coming up and hope to get to some of the record ofices.

That's good news. It'll cut down on the hours spent staring into the screens of the microfilm readers.

Next major step will be the OPRs. They should be next on the wish list.
