Are they his parents or not? .....

I spent four hours on Sat.going through the OPR for Ordiquihill in Banff where my McKimmies originate from.
William McKimmie marries Isabel Dollas/Dallas there in 1776.His son William McKimmie marries Elisabeth Carmicheal there in 1796.
I looked & looked through the records & the only William McKimmie born in the parish during the relevant time is William to John McKimmie & Ann Farqhuar 1747-in fact they are the only two Willam McKimmies born there in the 1700's
William & Elisabeth also name their first son John in 1799.
I was able to confirm parentage of William 1776 from a family Bible-long story it was destroyed but my Granny talked of a GGGGranny of hers being called Dallas.
So I am able with some certainty to confirm parentage as John/Ann?or am I just being wistful? The earlier entries I just couldn't read but the 1700 onwards are a joy to read-clear& concise.
There is also a one page transcript which is to do with either the adultery of a couple or the possible rape of the woman involved.It was tacked on at the end of the entries.I found it hard to read-both subject & writing.
Also one of the Births had what looked like Esdem Die for the date-was this a way of saying they had jumped the marital gun?Although there is an
entry which is not so coy-in prenuptial fornication so& so & his spouse had a child christened this day.
Interesting reading.This is not a huge Parish,the Mckimmies seemingly living somewhere that looks like Foniebeg,Plainover& Slagginnie(????)or Laggranie.-with William senior & Isobel Dollas having a son George there in 1789 & young William & Elisabeth Carmicheal having "Betty" there 1797.
