Need a hand....

with finding a set of parents, i have searched and searched but to hit the wall and now my head is so sore!!! i cant think anymore.

David youngs married Marion Selkirk in Duddingston Edinb in 1802
David was born on 16th Nov 1777 also in Duddingston i believe

I think his parents where: James and Janet Wallace but i cant confirm this no matter how long i search Im brain dead and need some help PLEASE!!!!!!

If the parents names are right they married on 20th October 1769 in Saint Cuthberts, edinb........if it is right where do i look for records that far back????

Hello Helen,

What was David's occupation and how do you know his DOB?

Do you know why he was also known as Williamson?

I know this may not be him but have you looked at the death entry of the David Young who died in Midlothian in 1857 age 76 on Scotlands People?
