NAS "Out of Office AutoReply"

Just got one of these from an enquiry I sent. There was no information in the email except a blurb about its having been checked for viruses. Does anyone know if they are out of the office until the new year, or just today? The website only mentions Dec 25 & 26, Jan 1 & 2 as holidays.

There used to be a an annual stocktaking closure around this time of the year, maybe November, but the NAS site state's that there's no longer such a closure.

I'd be very surprised if they close for Christmas before end of business 24th Dec.........

NAS is closed Dec 25 & 26, Jan 1 & 2 as holidays - I was there yesterday. An automated reply may have been sent if your email was received after 4.30pm or before 9am, or maybe if they were busy & could not answer your email that day. Although Heather received a very prompt reply from NAS the other day here on TS, that is not always the case!!

I think the replys are just sent out as a matter of course I also recieved an auto reply saying it would take somany working days etc. so it was a pleasent surprise when I got an answer so soon.

Yes, I have got automatic replies before saying they would answer in due time, etc. , but never an "Out of Office" reply, which usually means someone is on holiday.
