There is a 100 year rule on Scottish birth records online. You'll have to request a copy of the birth certificate from GROS I'm afraid.
Unfortunately, they really need definite info to do a search for you. Having said that, if you knew her parents names, you might be able to get their pre-1931 marriage entry on Scotlands People (Blue link near top of page). It's a pity you don't have that. It would probably help them to find her.
