Does anyone have this book?

Post by ninatoo » Thu Feb 01, 2007 12:01 pm

Hi all,

I was browsing today and came across a site which sells this rather long-titled book:

Further Selections from the Judicial Records of Renfrewshire [Scotland]. Illustrative of the Administration of the Laws of the County, and Manners and Conditions of the Inhabitants, in the 17th and 18th Centuries - William Hector.

I can purchase it for $28 US not including postage, but I wanted to see if anyone had it to tell me if it was worth having?

Hi Nina

I don't have the book, but it sounds interesting. You will have to let us know what you think about it when you read it.

Regards

Sheila

Hi Sheila,

It really does sound interesting. The site describes what's inside. The link is here:

Oh dear that is a long link! I don't know how to shorten it.
