evening all Ihave just downloaded an OPR no prob except it says KELTON DUMFRIES but the parish of kelton is in kirkcudbright altho there is a village of kelton in dumfriesshire now the question were my relations from dumfries or the stewarty can anyone enlighten me

Hi Derek,

I agree with you - ScotlandsPeople have placed Kelton in the wrong county. Kelton parish is well across Kirkudbrightshire, well away from the Dumfries-shire boundary.

Go back to the SP website and fill in a contact form, pointing this out.
