A new publication went on sale yesterday at the Annan Museum called "Calendar of Annandale Emigration". A guy named Archie Shannon has gone through the archives of the Annandale Observer from 1857 to 1907 and has assembled details of folk from the area who emigrated. It costs £7 and is available at http://www.dgfhs.org.uk/
